Color Blocker is one of the blockers in Candy Crush Soda Saga. It's first introduced in Level 7991.
Properties[]
- It's an encasing blocker that looks like a coloured ice cube. The more damage it takes, the more cracked it becomes.
- It comes in seven colours; blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange, red, and purple. Currently, there are no dark purple candy cubes.
- It can only be damaged by either special candy effects, or by matching candies of the same colour next to it. Adjacent matches of any other colour do nothing.

- This is the first blocker in the game that can only be destroyed by matching candies of an identical colour next to it.
- With 7 colours and between one and four layers each, there are 28 possible types of candy cubes, by far the most out of any blocker.
- This blocker can easily be seen as the game's equivalent of the Wonderful Wrapper from Candy Crush Saga:
- They were both released in the 2021-2022 fiscal year (Fall 2021 for this blocker, March 2022 for the Wonderful Wrapper)
- Both blockers are encasing blockers that can hold special candies and can only be destroyed with adjacent matches of the same colour or special candy effects (with adjacent matches of a different colour doing nothing).
- Both blockers have more variants than any other blockers in their respective games, due to being four/five hit blockers with seven/six colours each.
- Both blockers have the colour and the shape of the required candy colour on them.
