Bake a Cake is one of the events of Candy Crush Soda Saga. It was released on 9 October 2020.

This event only appear when you joined a team.
Unlike in levels map, Bake a Cake disregards all pre-game boosters, event-exclusive candies (even when they are available during gameplay) and the supercharged Mega Color Bomb; this used to prevent the possibillity of increasing the winning rate. When the events was started, you and (or) team members have a chef's hat. This mean all members must have a hat to play and win levels. If not, they will lose a hat; cannot continue until obtained back or other members have brought their back. Each layer has some recipes. To bake a slice, you and (or) team members must play some recipe levels. A baked slice only count when a recipe level has passed. Until a layer is completed, you and other team members can win boosters. Keep baking until the whole cake has finished.
On the left is the top chefs leaderboard. If you or any members bake a lot of cake slices, they will earn extra boosters. Only members stay at least 3rd can be earned. The prize is:
- 1st:
: 3 - 2nd: : 2 : 2
- 3rd: : 1
- 4th or lower: No reward.
Release team members[]
If you or any team members have lost its hat, you can pay 3
to release. The numbers may be vary for members who were failed a level.
Trivia[]
- For some reasons, as of October 2023, Bake a Cake keeps showing as "Coming Soon"; means that the bakery will be closed to make room for other features, or the feature is not currently available; this can be either due to it taking a break or that your team has already finished baking the cake. If this occurs, it is impossible to see progress or participate.
